Star Fury!

SWBookZone Review:
A funny behind-the-scenes concept with a passable, but not outstanding, execution.

The film chronicles a dysfunctional cast and crew of blatant Star Wars ripoff. The film shines when it comically sidesteps copyright infringement (e.g. "illuminated rapiers") and humorously critiques the conventions of Star Wars and the science fiction genre in general (e.g. the lead actress' complaints about wearing spandex and corsetts). Fun film, but the plot doesn't particularly stand out from others.

Overall Grade: B-
