About the Website Developer:
My name is Kat. When it comes to Star Wars, you might say I was a late adopter. I first became interested in Star Wars in 1999 with the release of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Shortly thereafter, Terry Brooks' novelization of the film sucked me into the larger (and aptly named) expanded universe of novels.
I'm an ardent defender of Episode I, the Prequel Trilogy and even (gasp!) the lovably controversial Jar Jar Binks. Still, I'm not oblivious to the faults of the Prequel Trilogy and choose to laugh rather than punch the person closest to me during moments like, "I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere. Not like here. Here everything's soft... and smooth." Bleh.
A Few of My Star Wars Favorites:
Movie: Return of the Jedi or The Empire Strikes Back (depending on my mood)
Novel: Heir to the Empire
Character: Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader
Minor Character: Kit Fisto
Song: Duel of the Fates (tough decision!)
