Christmas Tauntauns

Good effects, and clever details aren't enough to keep Christmas Tauntauns from being boring.

The film chronicles a little girl's wish to get tauntauns for Christmas. A cute premise, but the biggest problem with the film is its monotonous song chorus, which significantly dragged down my enjoyment of the film. Although the 3D animation is good, the "cutesy" look of the film may be a turnoff to some fans.

Great graphics coupled with a few fleetingly clever visual details make Christmas Tautauns a passable but not outstanding fan film.

Overall Grade: B-
