Authors Michael Reaves and Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff return to the Star Wars galaxy to write Star Wars Holostar. Holostar is an upcoming novel that will take place during the early days of the Rebellion. The book will chronical a "rags to riches" story of a holostar and also feature an appearance from Corellian smuggler Dash Rendar.

Reaves and Bohnhoff had previously collaborated on the Star Wars novel Coruscant Nights III: Patterns of the Force, although Bohnhoff went uncredited.
